Discovering Audubon Park

We have discovered an excellent walk uptown which is the loop through Audubon Park - a gorgeous, renowned venue with a zoo, a golf course in the center, and a lovely waterway which is teeming with local wildfowl. We have seen ducks, herons, egrets and cormorants in abundance - we happened upon SEVERAL TREES FULL of egrets - every white patch you saw was another bird - there were a couple hundred of them all calling and creating a din...astonishing!!
